Billy Smith II

Billy Smith II is a photojournalist and photo editor at the Houston Chronicle with nearly 10 years of photojournalism experience.

Before coming to the Chronicle four years ago, Billy was on the photo staff at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Previously, he had a short stint at the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer in Columbus, Ga., and his internships include the New York Times, the Associated Press and the Florida Times-Union.

Billy is an Arlington, Texas, native who attended the University of Texas at Arlington.
