Seung Min Kim
Seung Min is a reporter for POLITICO. Most recently, she was at USA Today, where she reported from the paper’s Washington bureau and worked on its online news desk. Before making her way to Washington, she covered suburban New Jersey for The Star-Ledger of Newark. She also completed internships at The Des Moines Register, the St. Petersburg Times and the St. Paul Pioneer Press. But her heart remains with her college newspaper, The Daily Iowan in Iowa City, where she fell in love with journalism after her first article (about a severed lizard head found in a fast-food salad).
The longtime Iowa resident holds degrees from the University of Iowa and American University and tries her best to showcase her Hawkeye pride in Washington, especially during football season -- though she freely admits she knows nothing about the game.

Black man is hero. News media, nation seem mystified. It flies in the face of usual distorted media depiction #Ramsey http://t.co/RerQL9WEGG
