Kara Briggs

Kara Briggs uses her extensive background in journalism, the arts and federal policy to develop national strategies and create content for Pyramid’s clients among Indian nations and Native organizations. Kara brings 20 years experience, including as staff writer at the Oregonian, columnist for Indian Country Today, and as a past president of the Native American Journalists Association. She has developed and implemented fundraising plans for national organizations. Since the 1990s she has trained Native organizations to use media, and media professionals to work with Native organizations and Indian nations.
